The first step in applying for a grant program such as ATOMAT, PATH, or WEI, is to complete this application. The application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Grants received by Lincoln Land Community College are used to increase enrollment and retention in various programs. Grant support can be used for institutional costs (tuition, fees, books) or indirect costs (transportation, childcare, etc.).

A parent is an individual that has a child or is pregnant.



A homeless individual is a person who does not have a fixed, regular, adequate nighttime residence.  This includes individuals living in shelters, hotels, motels, campgrounds, cars, parks and other public spaces.
An out-of-workforce individual is generally a person who previously provided unpaid services to the family (e.g., a stay-at-home mom or dad), is no longer supported by the spouse, is unemployed or underemployed, and is having trouble finding or upgrading employment.
An individual who is 21 years of age or younger, whose parent is a full-time member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard.
A youth who is in, or have aged out of foster care system is defined as an individual 21 or younger for whom the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services currently has, or previously had legal temporary or permanent custody.

Grant programs at LLCC have different goals and objectives. Each grant program has it's own unique eligibility requirements and programs it funds. Some students may be eligible for one or more grant program based on several factors.

LLCC classes take place during three "semesters" or "terms". LLCC offers classes that start both at the beginning and halfway through a semester.

You may qualify for the following grant programs:
WEI
The Workforce Empowerment Initiative (WEI), funded through an Illinois Community College Board grant, aims to bridge workforce gaps and equip participants with the skills needed to secure well-paying, full-time careers. Our trades and health care certificate programs can be completed in one year or less and focus on high-demand industries with strong employment opportunities.

What we provide
WEI provides resources for short-term education/training programs designed to help participants gain employment in high-wage and in-demand occupations. Students receive supports, which may include compensation to help cover basic costs while receiving the training.
PATH
The Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce (PATH) program, funded through an Illinois Community College Board grant, aims to serve, create, support and expand the opportunities for individuals in nursing and select health care pathways to obtain certificates and degrees, allowing them to enter and/or advance their careers in the health care industry.

What we provide
PATH provides resources for short-term and long-term education/training programs designed to help participants gain employment in high-wage and in-demand occupations within the health care field. Students receive supports, which may include compensation to help cover basic costs while receiving the training.
ATOMAT
The Accelerated Training Opportunities in Manufacturing and Technology (ATOMAT) program, is focused on providing high-quality, hands-on training in manufacturing and technology fields, preparing students for in-demand careers with skills and knowledge that are both up-to-date and industry-recognized.

What we provide
ATOMAT grants provide resources for short-term and long-term education/training programs designed to help participants gain employment in high-wage and in-demand occupations within the technology field. Students receive supports, which may include compensation to help cover basic costs while receiving the training.

To calculate your hourly rate from your annual salary, divide your annual salary by the total number of hours you work in a year. For a standard 40-hour workweek, that's 2080 hours. Do not add a $ sign or decimals.
